Business Issue
Following multiple acquisitions, an international medical device company needed to unify its global sales organization quickly. Leadership made the decision to host a large-scale sales meeting in Europe to bring together new and existing talent for training, motivation, and cultural alignment.
With only four months of turnaround time, our client needed a seamless event across regions, languages, and cultures.
Key challenges included:
- Coordinating a global event for more than 500 participants (on an accelerated timeline)
- Managing logistics for hundreds of attendees traveling internationally
- Creating an experience that balanced education, motivation, and networking
Our Solution
Motivation Excellence provided full-service global event strategy, planning, and execution, acting as a true extension of the client’s internal team.
Our approach included:
- Full-service planning and on-site staffing support
- Sourcing nearly 10 destinations and 36 hotel properties
- Building a custom registration platform and interactive mobile event site (Inspire)
- Planning and executing nine breakout sessions, a product fair and presentations from industry speakers
- Collaborating with a destination management company (DMC) to design team-building and off-site experiences
- Curating elevated experiences, including an opening night event at the Natural History Museum in London
This comprehensive approach ensured consistency, clarity, and engagement, despite the compressed timeline and global scope.
The Results
The success of the program reinforced alignment across the global sales organization and demonstrated the client’s commitment to investing in its people. The event delivered a highly positive participant experience across all key measures:
